The first Czech music concert in the history of Myanmar, Song to the Moon was held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Sule Shangri-La Hotel’s Ballroom. Artistic director and pianist Kimball Gallagher guided listeners through this historical concert presenting music by Czech composers Dvorak, Janacek, Smetana, and Suk, along with MMF’s beloved mezzo-soprano Yiling Chaing, violinists Natalie Ming-I Tsai and En-Chia Chen, violist Melissa (Lin-Chuan) Huang, and cellist Shih-Lin Chen.
