Photographers showcasing their work at an inaugural festival in Shan State scooped top prizes including Canon cameras on Friday.
Out of 15 photo-stories screened in Taunggyi Gym as part of the Shan State Photo Festival, juries selected seven teams for prizes and saved first place for the story Outcast by Nyi Myo Set and Nora.
Myanmar non-profit association PhotoDoc organized the festival, which took place on December 22-23. It included historical exhibitions on Myanmar and photography competitions.
