Holiday mood kicks in!

I can’t believe it’s November already. The first week of November is a long holiday in Myanmar (from Nov 2-4) which is to celebrate the full moon day of Tazaungdaing or festival of light. The festival marks the end of rainy season. During this period, Myanmar people usually donate Kathein which is composed of new robes, alms or money to the monks. You may see many booths along the city, accepting donations with some entertainment.

Today, for the majority of you, is the first day of the holiday, but if you’re still looking for what to do or where to go, make sure to check out our travel articles section for more inspirations on travel destinations both inbound and outbound.

Oh, one more thing, it should be a secret, but just to give you a glimpse of excitement.

Myanmore Magazine November issue is going to be a SPECIAL EDITION to welcome the traveling season.  The magazine is likely to be out next week. Make sure to grab it before it’s gone.

Be safe, everyone! Hope you enjoy your holiday as much as we do 🙂
