If you are looking for activities to chill with your buddies, check out Urban Cue for snooker or pool time over some cold beer.
It’s located on the first floor of Urban Asia Center, right on the corner of 48th street and Mahabandoola Road. You may take the entrance from the front of the building or the side behind KBZ bank, go upstairs and walk pass The Voice Industry KTV. Urban Cue will be just right after.
The place is spacious and well equipped with 10 snooker tables, 3 pool tables, 2 darts, 1 carom, which is more professional table, and bar. Food can also be ordered from the KTV.
It is currently in the soft opening period, offering an exclusive price of 4,500 ks/hour/table. One table can play up to 4 people. If you don’t know how to play any of the games, fear not, they can teach you right on the spot. Classes can also be arranged upon request. They also sell tables, should you wish to buy one for your home or office.
On December 1st, they will be hosting their first Amateur Snooker Competition with the support from Myanmar Snooker Federation. You can sign up to enter the competition there. The deadline is on November 25th.
The fee for the competition is 7,000 ks/person, if you sign up in a group of more than 10 people, it will be only 5,000 ks/person.
The first price is 500,000 ks, 300,000 ks for the second prize and the third price is 200,000 ks.
For next year, they will also be hosting U25 tournament.
Moreover, they plan to add table tennis, football table, hockey table, bigger snooker and pool tables next year which means more fun is on the way!
