The Night of Magic Sounds was performed in the courtyard of the SAVOY Hotel Yangon by the pool on 16th of March, created by Sigune von Osten.

Around 17 artists and musicians with Myanmar traditional instruments, Jazz music, classic piano, voices, Dancer Pantomimes and sounds of objects were performed as an extraordinary symbiosis of sounds.

The performance was really great and they pulled up the crowd till the end with amazing creation of sounds by the symbiosis combination of musical instruments and stuffs we used in daily activities; e.g. waters, papers, pans, cans, stainless steel cookie boxes, etc.

The nonstop Live performance which keeps changing musical flow to flow, instrument to instrument, voices to voices was an astonishing show and the dancers described the emotional movements by their dance. The crowds reactions are all the same with one “wow” and a big round of applause from the crowd closed the show with amazing night.

Their Art Director, Prof. Sigune von Osten managed to perform the show with the team of Bamboo Trio (well-known Accoustic band in Yangon), The Myth, MEBC’s own Band, Saxophone by Ko Minn Minn Htoo, Violin by Ko Aung Thway, Myanmar Flute by Ko Myo Minn Than, Myanmar traditional Saing by Htet Arkar, Dancers by Yair Yan Naung & Zuko group, Myanamr Harp by War War Sann, Myanmar Traditional Dance by Shwe Yamin May, Stomp Drummer by Thar Pi Ti, Piano by Kyi Sin Wai and Phyo Gyee, Guitar by Kyaw Myat Thu, Singers John, Ye Yint Htun, Than Thar Cho and Candy, Sound System by LUTON Audio and MEBC Students volunteered their great show.

And I am sure, at the end of the show, I saw one of the person from the crowd came down to the students and cheered up the students, “Hey, you guys are amazing, where will be your next performance?” he said.
