New international DJ at The Penthouse this Friday. K-Groove is based in Australia where his House beats with Funk influences won him awards like the QLD DMC Championship. He is liked, and you can check him out with out a cover charge.
K-Groove, Kristian Hernandez, has played throughout Australia, Paris, London New York, Barcelona, Tokyo and everywhere in between. Equally at ease playing for small crowds in underground circuits or amphitheatres filled with tens of thousands of people.
8am-8pm: BMX Day @ Hledan Centre Corner of Pyay and Hledan Road
Come see the BMX bikers of Myanmar, some from Yangon, many from Mandalay, to celebrate World BMX day!
They will assemble 9:00am at Hledan Centre for the tour. Then head to 8 Miles, Myaynigone, Sule, Kokekine, Inya bank (Yankin). Every locations has small challenges for the skilled riders.
The event is organized by YGN BMX, a local group that promote extreme sports and sustainable transportation. There won’t be much English spoken here, but come join to see Myanmar youth promote a passion that is new to the country.
