PUN + PROJECTS MOVING ON FROM LA CAROVANA

The fine-dining Italian restaurant is officially closed to make way for more casual restaurants under the management of PUN + PROJECTS. Dining has been trending towards more relaxed and energetic environments that are hard to capture in traditional high-end restaurants. Executive Chef Kevin Ching will be staying on board to help launch these new eateries, details yet to come.

“We thank everyone for the amazing support we’ve received since La Carovana opening in 2015,” says Ching. “We’ve really enjoyed giving diners a real taste of Italy and the Mediterranean. And we look forward to continue doing so, in a more upbeat, casual environment.”

Port Autonomy will be unaffected, remaining on 22 Kabar Aye with the same drinks and dishes. Stay with MYANMORE to learn about the new PUN + PROJECTS establishments, one of which will be a Southeast Asian place somewhere in downtown Yangon.
