LINE, a messaging application whose features include fun stickers, has launched in Myanmar.

LINE offers services include free messages, voice calls, video calls and group chats, with additional elements elements such as fun stickers that incorporate emotions to enhance the communication experience, while integrating various social elements in its features such as stickers, home & timeline.

To provide a more local flavour, LINE is promoting their app by providing Burmese celebrities, Aung Ye Lin and Khin Wint Wah, with accounts that allow them to directly engage with their fans.

“My first impression after downloading LINE is its adorable stickers that come along with the app especially Brown character. I like LINE because it is very convenient to make free calls and free chat. Also I can post photos on my Timeline – my friends can click ‘Like’ and comment under of my photos with stickers or words,” said Aung Ye Lin. “My favourite character is Cony. I always use stickers when I chat to my friends,” Khin Wint Wah said.

Since the first campaign, which is “30 Days 30 Phones!” called ‘LINE Lucky Chance’ was very popular among existing and new users, LINE decided to continue the event with the support of Samsung. This time the prizes are 30 Samsung Galaxy S6 through LINE FUN Official Account, starting from July 2, 2015.
