What brings you to Yangon

The unique vibration, the adventure of being there when things start. The exoticism. The smiles. George Orwell.

You also run an events agency. How was Stork born?

The story begins in Yangon. Amidst the fast-paced changes happening in the city, there is the chance encounter of Jeni and Jean. Enthusiastic and bursting with fresh ideas, we decide to create STORK Agency, specializing in events creation and management. With combined experiences in Shanghai, Mumbai and Paris, we think we have the expertise to bring excitement into Yangon, one of the world’s most exciting cities.

Where do you get your ideas/inspirations from?

Mainly from other cultures, travels, and art.

What was the most outrageous event you’ve ever organised?

My 31th birthday.

What was the most memorable party you’ve ever been to?

My 31th birthday 🙂
On a different note, I think Johnny Walker F1 party in Mumbai, India, too.
Between Mika Häkkinen the F1 Champion, Miss India, Bollywood stars, and billionaires, I learned so much about networking that night.

If you can invite anyone, dead or alive, to your party, who would it be?

Truman Capote. If he’s busy that night, maybe Oscar Wilde.

What does Jean Curci has next up his sleeves?

Actually my events company and I are planning something big soon. We want to shake the city a bit. I like to try new things as long as it doesn’t destroy my place and my reputation. Laughs.
